    Knots and how to tie them.

    Select from stoppers, fixed loop, hitches, and other useful knots.

    Parts of a rope / cord

    1. Working end: The part of the rope / cord in which the knot is being formed.

    2. Bight: A curved part of the rope / cord which can be narrow or wide and may touch at the base.  

    3. Loop or Turn: Where the rope / cord passes over itself.  

    4. Standing part: The rest of the rope / cord not directly involved in the forming of the knot
