Loop the working end round the fixing. Bring the working end round once again.
Pass the working end across the standing part.
Pass the working end behind the standing part.
Form the first hitch by passing the working end between itself and the standing part.
Make the first hitch tight then take the working end round the standing part
Form the second hitch by passing the working end between itself and the standing part. Work the two half hitches tight and snug against the round turn.
