Riggers BendThis is a relatively recent bend devised in the USA.
Make interlocking bights in the working ends of the two lines. Bring the end of one round to pass under its standing part. Continue with this end round beneath the loop of the second line. Thread the working end through its own loop to form an Overhand knot trapping the second line. Without tightening the first knot, follow the same pattern with the working end of the second line. Take the tip of the working end through the loop of the first knot. Then out through its own loop. Now work the knot tight to complete the bend.
